Ottawa Flower Donation is a community-led initiative that gives flowers a second life. After weddings, celebrations, and memorials, we collect donated flowers and thoughtfully redistribute them across Ottawa to places where a small moment of beauty can make a meaningful difference.
By rescuing flowers that would otherwise go to waste, we help reduce the environmental impact of events in Ottawa while spreading kindness. Every bouquet and arrangement supports more sustainable celebrations and allows these flowers to continue bringing beauty to people in our community.

Flower Drop-Off
To keep our grassroots program sustainable, we kindly ask donors to bring their flowers to our downtown drop off location after their event. This simple step allows us to focus our time and care on sharing flowers with the community.
Repurposing
Once received, we carefully refresh and redesign your donated flowers into beautiful new bouquets. Our volunteers thoughtfully rework each arrangement giving them a meaningful second life while honouring the care and intention behind the original event.
Community Delivery
These lovingly repurposed arrangements are delivered to seniors’ homes, long-term care residences, health care settings, and community organizations across Ottawa, brightening the days of people who need it most.

What We Accept
We gladly accept flowers from weddings, corporate events, memorial services, and community gatherings. If your blooms still have life left in them, we can give them a meaningful second chance.

- Greenery & Accent Florals
Do Not Accept
To ensure every arrangement we create can be shared with care and dignity, there are a few items we’re not able to accept.
- Artificial or silk flowers
- Flowers that are fully wilted or no longer fresh
- Blooms sprayed with glitter, paint, or heavy dyes
- Damaged containers or items that can’t be safely reused
